The weekend promises clearer skies after yesterday’s storm, so plan to head out to one of the many events happening in Charlotte.
One such event: A one-man show that spotlights the 1849 journey of Henry “Box” Brown, an enslaved man who had himself shipped to freedom inside a wooden crate. Our reporter Jalon Hill talks with the actor/creator behind that production.
In the coming weeks, QCity Metro will launch a new online product. To get a sneak peek and offer feedback, email email@example.com.
Now that spring is here, Mint Museum Randolph is bringing back its Party in the Park. The first installment of 2022 is set for Sunday with food trucks, live music and a cash bar.
